Genocide

The genocide is slavery that white didn't like blacks and they wanted them to work for them also segregation because they didn't want blacks and whites together black people had different water fountains different bathrooms ,jobs. One country that genocide happen in was turkey because turkish people didn't like the armenians calling turkey their home and if you said that turkey was your home you were either deported or killed history repeat itself because it happen to the jews, african americans,and the armenians.

Night

The title night makes me believe that he went though  darkness,lonliness, coldness and hate Elie Wiesel went though alot of stuff during his experience with the holocaust he only ate ration's of bread and soup that contained hot water and chicken fat he was so skinny you cold see his bones also he had to run from one concentration camp to another concentration camp called  Gleiwitz  if you didn't keep up with the pace you were shot or trampled . Night also ment death many people would go missing at night.

Meaning of the Nazi symbol

The swastika was a symbol of good fortune or blessing or happiness in many cultures for thousands of years. In Europe the swastika became an accepted form of the Christian cross. The Nazis adopted it as their symbol simply because it looked mystical and had associations with early German culture.

Night by Elie Wisele

The reason why Elie named his book night was beacuse of every thing he has gone through in the niught time. He also most of the bad thing happened in the night time,many people got killed they got rapped and many otherthings had happened.

Holocaust

This is before they got separated from there families. They had told them if they fallowed what they said they would go back to there families. They never got to to see their families again because they went to different place and if they were not good enough they got killed.

Why did the prisener not try to escape?

The prisoners did not try toescape because if they had tryed to they would of got killed , they had no chance of escaping succsfully .  Also they kept saying to their selfs that the Russians would come in time to save them . But the SS people never told them they would be killed they told them they were going to a camp . 

Is History worth studying

History is worth studying because you never know what is going to happen in the future. Also because you have to know about the past because is good knowing why what is happening today is because of what happened years ago. Also because in the past many thing happened and its good to know what was going on in the past. I also think that history is worth studying because many people died because of racism and its good to learn why people treated people of color different from others.
